Download CloudPool

Version 2.0.1, released 27 September 2026. Free for Mac, Windows and Linux, and in the browser on phones. One login works on all of them.

Pick your system

Every download is below.

Each system has its own installer. Choose yours, then follow the three or four steps under it.

Mac

macOS 13 Ventura or newer.

Apple Silicon
Macs with an M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer chip. Most Macs from late 2020 on.
Download 151 MB
CloudPool-Mac-AppleSilicon.dmg
Intel
Older Macs with an Intel processor.
Download 161 MB
CloudPool-Mac-Intel.dmg

Not sure which? Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. Chip: Apple M… means Apple Silicon; Processor: Intel means Intel.

Install and open it the first time

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag CloudPool into Applications.
  2. Open CloudPool from Applications.

macOS says it could not verify the app, because it is not notarized by Apple yet. Click Done.

  3. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security.

Scroll down to the message about CloudPool and click Open Anyway, then confirm. You only do this once.

  4. When macOS asks about your Keychain, choose Always Allow.

That is where CloudPool keeps your logins, encrypted. After an update it may ask once more.

If macOS says CloudPool is damaged, open Terminal and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/CloudPool.app, then open it again.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11.

64-bit
Almost every PC made in the last ten years.
Download 115 MB
CloudPool-Windows-x64-Setup.exe
32-bit
Older PCs running 32-bit Windows 10.
Download 95.2 MB
CloudPool-Windows-x86-Setup.exe
ARM
Snapdragon laptops such as Copilot+ PCs and Surface Pro X.
Download 105 MB
CloudPool-Windows-ARM64-Setup.exe

Not sure which? Open Settings, then System, then About, and look at System type: "64-bit, x64-based", "32-bit" or "ARM-based".

Install and open it the first time

  1. Run the downloaded Setup file.

It installs for your user account without an admin password, adds a desktop shortcut and starts CloudPool.

  2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

SmartScreen shows this for new apps that are not signed with a paid certificate. If Edge says the file is not commonly downloaded, choose Keep, then Keep anyway.

  3. When Windows Firewall asks about CloudPool, allow Private networks.

Nearby sharing needs it to find phones on your Wi-Fi.

  4. Optional: install WinFsp to see your drives in File Explorer.

A free, open-source helper from winfsp.dev, installed once. Everything else works without it.

Linux

64-bit x86 or ARM. Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 38 or newer, or similar.

Ubuntu, Debian, Mint
A .deb package for x86_64 computers.
Download 118 MB
CloudPool-Linux-amd64.deb
Any distribution
An AppImage for x86_64 computers. Runs without installing.
Download 148 MB
CloudPool-Linux-x86_64.AppImage
ARM .deb

Download 110 MB
CloudPool-Linux-arm64.deb
ARM AppImage
For ARM64 computers on any distribution.
Download 147 MB
CloudPool-Linux-arm64.AppImage

Install

  1. .deb: sudo apt install ./CloudPool-Linux-amd64.deb

CloudPool then appears with your other apps.

  2. AppImage: chmod +x CloudPool-Linux-x86_64.AppImage, then open it.

AppImages need FUSE 2: sudo apt install libfuse2t64 on Ubuntu 24.04, or libfuse2 on older releases. If it closes right away on Ubuntu 24.04, use the .deb.

  3. To see your drives as folders: sudo apt install fuse3

Optional. Everything else works without it.

Phone

iPhone and Android, in Safari, Chrome or any modern browser.

CloudPool web app
Nothing to install from a store. Create your login on a computer first, then sign in on the phone.
Open the web app

On a computer right now? Point your phone's camera at this code to open the web app there.

  1. Open cloudpool.vercel.app/app on the phone.

In Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. A link opened inside Instagram, Facebook or TikTok opens in their own small browser, which cannot install apps: choose Open in Safari or Open in Chrome first.

  2. Tap Add to Home Screen in CloudPool.

On Android it installs straight away. On iPhone, where Safari keeps this to itself, CloudPool shows you where to tap: the ••• button next to the address bar, then Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add. (Before iOS 26, the Share button sits in Safari's bottom bar.)

  3. Open CloudPool from its new icon and sign in.

On iPhone the Home Screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari, so you sign in there once.

On the phone you can browse, upload, download, make folders, rename, delete and share links, on accounts at Google Drive, MEGA, TeraBox and GitHub. Adding storage accounts, and files over 3.5 GB, stay on the computer.
